UK stay: East Anglia Transport Museum

This was a two-day "Trolleybus" weekend at the museum, where as many trolleybuses as possible, owned and on loan, were on the road. On the Saturday morning, we set out in the early morning from Southsea: taxi to the station, train to Waterloo, a rare journey on the Waterloo & City line then Central line to Liverpool Street, and train to Lowestoft.

Bournemouth trolleybus. Some Bournemouth trolleybuses were loaned to the Llanelly system during WWII, and when on holiday in 1946, I dragged my long-suffering parents on trolleybuses on many of the routes in Bournemouth.
